Autobiography of JK Karavis
JK Karavis was invited to join the Rotary Club of Plymouth in May, 1997. In those 13 years, he has attained perfect attendance in 10 different years. JK has had the privilege to be nominated by his club as President on three separate occasions. In addition, he has served as Assistant Governor for three years and served multiple years on the District Conference Committee as Golf Chairperson. In addition to President, JK has served in every capacity within his club. His club has honored him by naming him a Paul Harris Fellow on three separate occasions. Within the club, JK has chaired every project and was co-founder of the Rotary Club of Plymouth Golf Tournament which has raised nearly $30,000 for deserving causes. JK is a 1994 Cum Laude graduate of King’s College with a degree in Marketing and Finance. Upon graduation, JK joined the former Mellon Bank as a Branch Manager and Financial Relationship Manager and moved to Business Banking upon conversion to Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania. JK is the father of Johnnie, the reason he gets up to go to work in the morning. They enjoy hockey and baseball games, XBOX, watching movies, playing wiffle ball and spending time with family.
